• Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you


• You should use ACNICIN GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry


• Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots


• It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks


• You may need to use more than one tube of ACNICIN GEL during each course of treatment


• Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring


• Do not use ACNICIN GEL in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina


• It can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps

If you use more ACNICIN GEL 

• If you apply too much ACNICIN GEL just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital

If you forget to use ACNICIN GEL 

• Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

If you stop using ACNICIN GEL 

• If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse


• Do not stop taking ACNICIN GEL unless your doctor tells you to do so
