What AVOMINE is used for?
It is used to treat:
Allergic conditions such as hay fever, rashes (nettle rash or hives)
Adults with difficult sleeping (insomnia)
Nausea and vomiting (travel sickness)
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Serious
Allergic reaction: rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue
Liver problems (eyes or skin to go yellow)
Muscle stiffness or shaking, unable to control some muscles in head or face
Unusual movements of the tongue, facial muscle spasms, rolling eyes and trembling
Very fast, uneven or forceful heartbeat (palpitations), irregular heartbeat
Tiredness, drowsiness or sleepiness, disorientation, having nightmares, headaches, restlessness
In children: over-active behaviour
Dry mouth, blurred vision or unable to pass urine
Loss of appetite (anorexia), indigestion
Faint (hypotension)
Confusion (elder)
