Description

Cremalax Liquid 100ml

INTRODUCTION

CREMALAX contains Sodium picosulfate which belongs to a class of medications called stimulant laxatives. It is used to relieve short term occasional constipation. It works by increasing movement in the intestine and provides relief from constipation. Constipation usually happens when bowel movements become less frequent and stools become hardened and difficult to pass.

It works as a laxative by drawing large amounts of water into your intestines and stimulates the colon. This results in a stimulation of defecation, reduction of transit time and softening of the stool.

Always take CREMALAX exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. It is not suitable for use in children below 12 years of age. The common side effects are abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea and vomiting.
