What is SENSODENT KF?

Introduction:

Sensodent KF foaming dental gel is used with a toothbrush to clean and maintain the aesthetics, health of teeth and provides relief for sensitive teeth. Hypersensitivity of tooth is characterized by short, sharp pain while taking hot, cold, sweet or very acidic foods and drinks or breathing in cold air.

Potassium nitrate used to prevent cavities and to reduce pain from sensitive teeth (dentinal hypersensitivity). It calms the nerves in the teeth and also build-up of potassium ions over time helps to desensitize nerves in the tooth pulp, making them irresponsive to sensitivity stimuli. Sodium monofluorophosphate used to protect tooth enamel from attack by bacteria.
